The North American alder body delivers a balanced tone, with well-defined mids and excellent note clarity.
The roasted maple neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile and Sire's Edgeless™ rounded fingerboard edges. The heat treatment improves the wood's stability and gives it an attractive, naturally aged appearance.
The maple fingerboard, black rectangular inlays and satin neck finish complete an instrument that feels great in the hands.
With its traditional 34-inch scale length and 24 medium frets, the V5 24-4 reta
ns the familiar feel of a Jazz Bass-style instrument while providing extended access to the upper register, ideal for solos and melodic passages.
