The V6-4 features a mahogany body topped with a swamp ash veneer. Its sandblasted finish brings out the texture and natural grain of the wood, creating a particularly attractive visual effect.
The bolt-on maple neck features a comfortable C-shaped profile, offering a familiar and natural playing feel. The rosewood fingerboard, with its 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium frets, provides a smooth playing experience, whether you play fingerstyle or with a pick.
With its traditional 34-inch scale length and 38 mm nut width, the V6-4 retains the familiar feel of a Jazz Bass-style instrument.
Versatile electronics, from vintage warmth to modern clarity
The V6-4 is equipped with two Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups, paired with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp.
This combination delivers a wide range of tones, from warm, rounded bass sounds to sharper, more articulate and punchy tones, ideal for funk and more contemporary styles.
The pickup blend control allows you to fine-tune the instrument's tonal character, while the active three-band EQ provides additional control over the bass, midrange and treble frequencies.
The push/pull function on the bass control also allows you to switch to passive mode. This is a useful feature for players who prefer a more traditional response or wan
t a passive backup option should the battery run out.
