Its North American alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation, characterized by prominent midrange and excellent definition.
The hard maple neck is paired with an ebony fretboard. Its C-shaped profile, "Edgeless™" rolled fretboard edges, and stainless steel frets contribute to exceptional playing comfort. Lightweight tuning machines also help ensure better balance across the instrument.
The traditional 34-inch scale length and 38mm nut width offer a familiar feel to those accustomed to Jazz Bass-style instruments.
Comprehensive and versatile electronics
The V7 New Gen is equipped with two Marcus Super-J Revolution pickups, paired with the Heritage-3 active preamp.
A blend control allows for precise balancing between the two pickups, while the three-band EQ—featuring adjustable midrange frequency—offers extensive control over the sound.
Another notable advantage is the ability to switch to passive mode via a push/pull function on the bass control knob. This provides a broad sonic palette, ranging from a warm, rounded tone to a sharper, more modern sound.
